.aeDA to exhibit at GITEX Exhibition

The .aeDA will be attending the GITEX Exhibition (GULFCOMMS) in Dubai from 8 - 12 September 2007.

We will be situated at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) stand located in Zabeel Hall (Stand Z-D10).

TRA staff will be available to discuss the .ae Domain Name and the new regime and framework which will be launched towards the end of the year. The TRA consider this meeting to be important for the members of public to find out more information about this important transition as there will be changes to the Policy surrounding the .ae Domain Name and also in the way in which member so of the public can secure their name through the opening up of the market to various retails, once the new system is live.

Importantly, organisations that wish to become retailers of the .ae Domain Name (Registrars) will be invited to speak to staff and be instructed on the process (both technically and administratively) so that they are ready in time for the launch of the new system.
